海峽兩岸口譯大賽是一項具有廣泛影響力的年度盛事，由廈門大學與台灣翻譯學學會聯合主辦，並獲得教育部與國務院台灣事務辦公室支持。作為享譽兩岸四地的國家級學業競賽品牌，大賽不僅是淬煉口譯技藝、展現青年風采的頂尖平台，更是促進兩岸交流、推動口譯事業發展的重要橋樑。自2009年創辦以來，大賽吸引了來自中國大陸、台灣、香港、澳門，乃至美國、英國、澳洲等地區超過八百所高等院校逾萬名選手參與，涵蓋了大部分設有翻譯及口筆譯專業課程的重點大學。中央電視台、中國日報、台灣TVBS、台視、東森電視台、新華社、鳳凰衛視等兩岸主流媒體持續關注並報導此項盛事。
回望2023年，第九屆大賽總決賽於澳門大學圓滿落幕，成功匯聚兩岸菁英，共襄口譯盛宴，再次印證了口譯在溝通橋樑上的關鍵作用，以及高端口譯人才培養的長遠價值。
第十屆海峽兩岸口譯大賽總決賽 定於 2025年5月10日 在 香港理工大學 隆重舉行。為選拔代表澳門特別行政區參加總決賽的優秀選手，澳門大學人文學院 與 澳門翻譯員聯合會 (FTIM) 將聯合舉辦：
第四屆澳門口譯大賽 (中英傳譯) 暨 第十屆海峽兩岸口譯大賽澳門賽區選拔賽
日期：2025年5月3日（星期六）
地點：澳門大學圖書館演講廳 (E2-G012)
比賽詳情:
大賽分為初賽及決賽兩輪。
- 初賽: 將於 2025年5月3日上午 舉行，旨在選拔12位選手進入決賽。參賽者需將一段長度約60至90秒的英語講話傳譯成普通話（允許筆錄）。
- 決賽 (暨第十屆海峽兩岸口譯大賽澳門賽區選拔賽): 將於 2025年5月3日下午 舉行，旨在選拔3位優勝者代表澳門參加總決賽。
決賽包含兩部分：
第一部分： 參賽者需在不作筆記的情況下，於60秒內將一段長度約90至120秒的普通話講話主旨以英語複述。
第二部分： 參賽者需借助筆記，為一位普通話講者與一位英語講者之間的對話進行接續傳譯。
獎項設置:
- 一等獎：1名
- 二等獎：2名
- 三等獎：3名
- 優異獎：6名
評審標準:
- 對源語信息的準確理解
- 目標語表達的流暢與自然度
- 整體發揮與儀態
榮譽與機會:
一等獎及二等獎得主（共3位）將代表澳門特別行政區參加於2025年5月10日在香港理工大學舉行的第十屆海峽兩岸口譯大賽總決賽。

評審團由來自多所高等院校的翻譯與口譯教學專家、學者及資深業界譯員組成。

The Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest is an influential annual event jointly organized by Xiamen University and the Taiwan Association of Translation and Interpretation, with the support of the Ministry of Education and the Taiwan Affairs Office. As a national academic competition renowned across Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao, the Contest serves not only as a premier platform for honing interpreting skills and showcasing the talents of young individuals, but also as a vital bridge promoting cross-strait exchange and advancing the interpreting profession. Since its inception in 2009, the contest has attracted more than 10,000 contestants from over 800 institutions of higher learning in the Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, including most of the key universities offering translation and oral interpreting training programmes. The event has been covered by mainstream media organizations across both sides of the Taiwan Strait, such as China Central Television (CCTV), China Daily, Television Broadcasts Satellite (TVBS), Taiwan Television (TTV), Eastern Broadcasting (EBC), Xinhua News Agency, and Phoenix Television.
Looking back to 2023, the Grand Final of the 9th Contest concluded with great success at the University of Macau. It effectively gathered outstanding talents from across the Strait for a splendid interpreting showcase, reaffirming the crucial role of interpreting as a communication bridge and the enduring importance of cultivating high-calibre interpreting professionals.
The Grand Final of the 10th Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest will be held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 10th May, 2025. To select the talented contestants who will represent the Macao Special Administrative Region at this prestigious Grand Final, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Macau (FAH UM) and the Federation of Translators and Interpreters of Macao (FTIM) are jointly organizing the:
Fourth Macao Interpreting Contest (English-Chinese) Macao Regional Final of the Tenth Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest
Date: 3rd May, 2025 (Saturday)
Venue: Library Auditorium (E2-G012), University of Macau
Details of the Contest:
The contest consists of two rounds:
- First Round: This round will be held on the morning of 3rd May, 2025, to select 12 contestants for the final round. Contestants will be required to interpret a 60-90 second English speech into Mandarin (note-taking allowed).
- Final Round (Macao Regional Final): To be held in the afternoon of 3rd May, 2025, this round will select the 3 winners to represent Macao at the Grand Final.
The final consists of two parts:
Part One: Contestants are required to deliver the main idea of a 90 to 120-second Mandarin speech into English within 60 seconds, without taking notes.
Part Two: Contestants are required to perform consecutive interpreting (with the help of notes) for a dialogue between a Mandarin speaker and an English speaker.
Awards:
- First Prize: 1 Winner
- Second Prize: 2 Winners
- Third Prize: 3 Winners
- Commendations: 6 Winners
Criteria for Evaluation:
- Correct understanding of the source speech.
- Fluency and naturalness of expression in the target language.
- Overall delivery and presentation.
Representing Macao:
The winners of the First Prize and Second Prize (total 3 winners) will earn the honor of representing the Macao SAR at the Grand Final of the 10th Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest, held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 10th May, 2025.
Evaluation Panel:
The Panel will comprise translation and interpreting trainers and scholars from various institutions of higher learning, as well as senior practitioners from the industry.

All students currently enrolled in full-time education programs in Macao are eligible to participate.
